Anniversary
According to this piece of paper, some pictures, and the people that were there, 2 years ago today, Vx and I got married. This occurred about 2 weeks after I got out of the hospital, so I was still "out of it" some. I don't remember much, I was in a wheelchair (something old, borrowed & blue, also couldn't "run away"), Vx got down on one knee in his Class A's so he was at my level, and when I stood up to take some pictures afterwards, my dress tried to fall off (I lost about 20 lbs while in the hospital, and the dress was fitted before that).
Other things I remember, the night before was the best nights sleep I had gotten at that point, my mom found my first gray hair on my head, that night was the last time I experienced withdrawal symptoms f/the morphine I was given in the hospital, and our sisters came for the wedding (my brother couldn't make the trip f/Chicago, my sister drove down f/Minnesota, Vx's older sister lives maybe 20 miles away, and his younger sister, her MIL & 3 kids flew in f/Washington).
We didn't go on our honeymoon til June '08 (Vx's unit had their AT in that area, so he got Warriors to change his ticket and I met him up there), Washington state would probably be more enjoyable to me in June than October-November, so that worked out for the better. Vx is still home on medical leave, & I don't have to be at work til 11pm, so I'm sure we'll do something, idk what.

2. I hate one of my co-workers!

The night before
So much for my awesome job, at 1pm (after I fell asleep), boss called me, one of my co-workers couldn't get time off f/regular job to work this year, so instead of getting to do the awesome job, I'm doing last year's job again, also requiring me to show up 2 hrs early. Oh the fun! Outdoors in a tent (crossing fingers I can use the heat this time!), downhill (water runs in, & its supposed to rain tomorrow), walls that can be unzipped w/ease, & so much more! To make shit worse, Vx said that dentist may send him home for a few weeks, just what I need at the one time I can't take off work! People keep asking me questions tonight I can't answer, another person that's supposed to be around isn't, and because of my weight gain, my favorite work jeans don't fit anymore. It also doesn't help that the CD rom in my laptop didn't work last night, so I won't be able to listen to new cd's tonight. Thank you for fuckin' calling in, co-worker!

Love dentists
I got another reason why to fuckin hate those medical professionals: they try to ruin your life! Vx saw one the other day at mob site that didn't like the work the one at Ft. Leonard Wood did. The FLW one was a reservist doing his 2 weeks there, Vx was very impressed w/him, & wished he practiced by us. The new one doesn't think that dental work will last through a deployment. People f/salsa keep fighting deployment, finding ways to get out of it, trouble, Vx has been trying to get deployed and everybody else has seem to find reasons for him NOT to go! It's aggravating! If he doesn't get deployed, Vx says he will asked to be released f/Army, why be part of it if no one will let you do your job, fighting for your country?
I start working 12 hour nights for the next week and a half tonight. I'm glad to get the hours & money, but I fear what my job will be like in a few nights (tonight won't be bad). Let the fun begin!
