This day is much more than Valentine's Day. This year, it's also the Chinese New Year, it's my sister's birthday, and Monday is a holiday for some.
I will also mention that my birthday is coming up on Wednesday. If you know someone that has a birthday after Valentine's Day, for the love of god:
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM LEFTOVER VALENTINE'S STUFF!!!
If your going out to a chinese restaurant today or another place celebrating the new year, you may hear some very loud music, and drums. Do not bitch out the staff because of this! I almost whacked a woman with my cane a few years ago for this. Please tip the lion, some places may have red envelopes you can use for this purpose, if not just slip some money in the mouth. If the team is from far away, this will help them greatly with travel cost, if its a local group, then you'll probably help pay for dinner after a long day of dancing and demonstrations.
